Shillong : The Department of Community and Rural Development, Government of Meghalaya is implementing the placement linked Skill Development Programmed for the rural youth under the scheme Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), GOI. The target for the state is 4637 unemployed youth during 2019-22.
The DDU-GKY, Meghalaya Cell through its Notification No. DDU-GKY/EOI/2017-18/47/Pt-I/2 invites proposals from interested and eligible Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) to implement the projects in the state of Meghalaya. Agencies who are interested may submit their proposal online at https://erp.ddugky.info/ up to 30th April 2019, as per the format prescribed by MoRD, GOI along with the application fee of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) payable to SIRD DDU-GKY, Account number 35870338017, State Bank of India, Barapani Branch, Ri Bhoi District Meghalaya, IFSC – SBIN0002010.
The Project duration is 3 years with proposals spanning for 3,6,9 and 12 months (depending upon the trades offered). The PIAs can apply only National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned courses as approved by Government of India MoRD Skills Division available at ddugky.gov.in
The PIAs before applying, should keep in mind that following trades have reached the saturation point for the State of Meghalaya hence these trades will not be considered anymore:
Hospitality Assistant
Food and Beverages Services
Sewing Machine Operator
Home Health Aid
BPO
