MCEME and SBTET signed MoU to harness skill development in Army

Hyderabad : Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad and Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) in an attempt to harness the skill development in the Army has inked MoU here on Friday.

The MoU is for awarding of Diploma in Engineering/Technology to EME technicians on retirement.

MCEME Commandant Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, MCEME Chief Instructor and Deputy Commandant Major General TSA Narayanan, State Technical Education Commissioner Navin Mittal, SBTET Secretary D Venkateswarlu, and members of academia from Civil and Military were present during the singing of MoU, the MCEME said in a release here.

Diploma in Network Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering streams will be awarded to EME Technicians and will surely go a long way for resettlement of a soldier in Civil society.
