Odisha Govt. to invest 14 billion to setup World Skill Centre in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha state government is placing huge emphasis on skills training and development. Government has decided to invest Rs 14 billion on developing a World Skills Centre. The Odisha Skills Development Authority (OSDA) has entered into a technical collaboration with Singapore-based ITE Educational Services (ITEES). Singapore’s ITEES signed an MoU with the State government at the MIO conclave to set up a World Skill Centre in Bhubaneswar.

Chiang Gnee Heng, Chairman, ITEES Singapore also shared his thoughts on the exciting partnership opportunities between Singapore and Odisha at the Make in Odisha 2018.

Speaking on the occasion ITEES Chairman Heng said, “As a skill development partner of the government, we congratulate Odisha for making skill one of the key pillars for both economic and social development.”

“With the visionary leadership by the Hon’ble Odisha CM, I am sure that Odisha has got the appropriate infrastructures and resources for development, and for attracting investors from all across the globe.” ITEES Chairman further said.
