Siemens CoE, NIT Tiruchi and Mahendra Engineering College signed MoU for skill development of students

Coimbatore : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for skill development and training to the students was signed between Siemens Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchi and Mahendra Engineering College at Mallasamudram here.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mini Siju Thomas, Director, and M. Madheswaran, Principal of the college. Officials said that Siemens Centre of Excellence operates with the primary objective of creating a robust technical education eco-system through its experience in industrial products and services.

It also intended to bridge today’s gap between industry requirements and technical education, and provide solution that makes technical institutes be more aligned with industry needs and make engineering graduate students, industry compliant on par with industry expectations.

The MoU will enable students to acquire more knowledge and training in Design and Validation, Advanced Manufacturing, Test and Optimization, and other sectors. College Chairman M.G. Bharathkumar and Executive Director R. Samson Ravindran congratulated the team members.
