Gurgaon : ZTE Telecom India Private Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) for complementing the skills imparted by the vocational system with support from industry in order to match industry requirements and provide greater level of on-the-ground training experience.
Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) has been formed and registered as a Society, by joint effort of the Industry, Government and Industry Associations. Established under the Society Registration Act in 1860, it is devoted to developing job related Qualification Packs and National Occupational Standards that feature skill competency standards and qualifications.
ZTE Telecom India Private Limited is a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. For the signing of the MoU, Mr. PK Jaswal shall be the official representative from TSSC while Mr. Mukesh Verma shall be the representative from ZTE Telecom India Private Limited.
Through this MoU, both the think tanks have mutually agreed to certain responsibilities. TSSC shall conduct the accreditation process for the training partners and accredit assessment agencies for 3rd party assessments and certification. It shall also develop secure and QA checked Question Bank for conduct of assessments while ZTE shall provide inputs for accreditation of training institutions, assessment and certification of trainers, in order to meet industry requirements. It shall also encourage recruitment of TSSC trained and certified manpower.
The purpose of cooperation between TSSC and ZTE Telecom India Private Limited is to reduce in-house training costs due to availability of industry ready personnel, reduce labour costs due to abundance of uniformly skilled manpower, elimination of HR Poaching: thus, reducing manpower retention costs.
