Bhopal : Dharmendra Pradhan, union minister for skill development and entrepreneurship, inaugurated the CRISP-Jaquar “Plumbing Training Centre (PTC)”, on Friday. Pradhan, Chief Guest of the program visited CRISP and also appreciated efforts made by CRISP in the field of skill development.
He also interacted with the state level participants of world skill India Competition. He said that CRISP is working as per the wishes of the Prime Minister and full cooperation will be provided by the Government to the organisations working in the field of skill development.
Deepak Joshi, minister of state technical education and skill development,was present on this occasion. This training centre was established in collaboration with the world-known company, Jaquar. Mukesh Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, CRISP, informed that looking at the priorities of skill development of state and Central Government, CRISP is always trying new innovations in the area of Skill Development. PTC is once such outcome.
Main objective of setting up this training center is to provide employment oriented skill development training in plumbing to the drop-outs, weaker section of the society and link them to employment.
Hemant Deshmukh, Chairman Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development & Employment Generation Board (MPSSDEGB), Ashok Kumar Varnwal, principal secretary, Manish Kumar, technical education,Managing Director and C.E.O of NSDC, Sukhveer Singh, C.E.O. MPSSDEGB, Kanvar Shamsher CSR Head of Jaquar CSR Head of Jaquar were also present on the occasion.
