Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) , Government of India has set an ambitious target, of adding 40 GW Rooftop Solar PV capacity by 2022. It demands for Institutional capacity, human resources and skilled professionals at various levels. It is proposed to impart training to 10,000 Utility Engineers and 5,000 Entrepreneurs in the country as a part of Ministries initiative on imparting skill.
NISE shall be the implementing agency for the same. To cater these training requirements, it is required to create a pool of trainers in this sector whose services can be utilized for the same.
Expression of interest are invited from reputed Government Institutes and other semi government institutes to host Solar Energy training for imparting training to the following:
Category 1: Training for Utility engineers from DISCOMS/SNAs
Category 2: Training (Residential) for Entrepreneurs for implementation of Solar Roof top Program across the country.
