Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) intends to take up a proposal from the Project Implementing  Agencies  (PIA) registered having valid PRN Number under the DDUGKY scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development for implementation of Sagarmala Phase-II under the DDUGKY convergence programme in the state of Odisha. Interested Project Implementing Agencies shall submit their proposal as per the prescribed format.
Objective
DDUGKY is expected to bring in its skilling expertise to provide skilling for the coastal communities, thereby preparing them to take advantage of the job opportunities that are expected to come up in the maritime sector following port-led development under Sagarmala. The primary goal of the Skills and Livelihoods in Sagarmala is to meet the exact skill needs of industries in the port and maritime sector and provide the coastal communities right skills for better opportunities emanating from the large-scale impact of Sagarmala projects.
It is expected that the close involvement of the coastal communities in Sagarmala will make them contributors to economic development and will ensure inclusive growth of the coastal districts of the country. The Sagarmala DDU GKY convergence programme is to be implemented in all districts of Odisha.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The Agency must have successfully completed at least 1 No project in
DDUGKY since the Year 2014. - The Agency must have a registered body.
- The Agency must have a minimum average Annual Turn Over of Rs. 5 Crore in the last three financial years (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22).
- Certified by a Chartered Accountant
- The agency must not have been blacklisted by ORMAS/ any other SRLMs/ Government
Undertaking from the agencies - The Agency must have prior experience in such trades that choose to apply for projects under Sagarmala

Note:
PIAs completed at least one project successfully with ORMAS may be prioritized to undertake the Sagarmala Phase II programme.
Agencies that do not meet the Minimum Eligibility Criteria will not be evaluated further at the PAC level.Â
