Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI), a sector Skill Council for Food Processing Industry invites proposals from Training Providers for empanelment with FICSI for providing domain skilling of Himachali Youth and providing them wage employment under Short Term Training (STT) with residential facility model supported by Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN).
The ultimate goal under this STT initiative is to build skilled work force to cater to the specific job requirements of Food Processing industry. The Training Providers can directly partner with FICSI and can build skilled work force as per their domain requirement for meeting their needs along with assurance of placements of the trained candidates with in Food Processing industries in Himachal Pradesh.
The salient features of the STT program under HPKVN:
- Projects have the provision of recruiting the candidates and providing the offer letters and then providing Industry relevant induction training with the NSQF aligned courses before deploying the candidates at their work location. For the specific purpose of STT model, employment will mean wage employment only.
- After completion of the training, the candidates will be assessed and certified. Post which, they will be deployed under the offered roles (The Job Roles are mentioned under Annexure – II)
- The candidate enrolment should be as per the capacity of the Training Centre approved by HPKVN.
- The training will be conducted with residential facility at the Training Centres in Himachal Pradesh
- Daily training will be monitored through Aadhar Enabled Biometric System.
- Post completion of the skill training, FICSI will conduct the assessment & certification of the trainees
and certification will be provided to the successful candidates. - The trained candidates must be deployed/placed under the Food Processing Industries.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Training Providers complying following criteria may submit their proposal at kamaljeet@ficsi.in by in the prescribed format (provided in the attached document below) on the company letterhead with the interest to get empanelment with FICSI for skill training and employment in STT model under HPKVN.
- The company should be operational since past 3 years.
- Average annual Sales over past 3 years from Food Processing activities should be Rs 70 Lakh
- The organization should be having well equipped classroom for theory sessions with residential facilities in Himachal Pradesh.
- The organization should be having valid PAN, GST etc.
