Background:
Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM) is constantly striving to meet the aspirations of youth and address human resource needs by aligning the supply of skilled workers with the sectoral requirements of the industry. GSDM with a strong focus on the advancement of skills that are relevant to the emerging economic environment is launching the Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (MBKVY) wherein candidates will be trained in New age industry demand-based short-term courses in the state of Gujarat.
GSDM aims to leverage the existing infrastructure of ITIs & Educational Institutions (Government/Private), Skill institutes, and Industry to provide the youth with state-of-the-art facilities imparting practical training on the latest technology. To start with, training will be imparted in the new age courses from Healthcare, Automotive, Green jobs, IT-ITeS, Capital Goods & Manufacturing, Banking, Finance Service & Insurance (BFSI), Construction, Drones, Electronics & Hardware, Logistics, Media & Entertainment, Telecom, Sports & Fitness, Furniture and Fitting, Tourism & Hospitality, Plumbing, Apparel, and Beauty & Wellness sectors as per industry requirement.
To meet skilled manpower requirements in various sectors in the state of Gujarat, this EOI is being issued to invite proposals from reputed organizations for empanelment, setting up training facilities, and imparting training under MBKVY.
Note:
- Government institutions & Government promoted entities shall be exempted from all the eligibility criteria.
- Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be considered only for those sectors, in which Applicant has experience.
Funding pattern
As per the Common Cost Norms, in case of NSQF aligned courses / as per KSU/GCVT norms, in case of Non-aligned courses (as amended from time to time).
Proposal Processing Fee
Non-refundable ₹ 5,000/- (Indian Rupees Five Thousand Only) in the form of a Demand draft from any Nationalized/Commercial Bank in favor of the“Gujarat Skill Development Society payable at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Original Demand Draft must be submitted with the Covering Letter at the GSDM office – Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan, Block No. 2, Third Floor, Gandhinagar 382010.
Note:
• Proposals that are not accompanied by the Proposal Processing Fee shall be rejected by GSDM.
• Government institutions shall be exempted from Processing Fee
Organization of Training
The Applicant has to follow guidelines/circulars issued by GSDM for the MBKVY scheme (as amended from time to time) for Training delivery, Assessment & Certification, Placement, Tracking, Payment disbursement, and other details as required by GSDM.
Submission of Proposal
Interested Applicants fulfilling eligibility conditions as mentioned above can submit their detailed proposal for undertaking Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (MBKVY) in the State to the Mission Director, Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM), Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan, Block No. 2, Third Floor, Gandhinagar 382010. Online applications should be submitted by or before 31st May 2022 by 5 PM and the hard copy of the submitted online proposal should reach the aforementioned address within 5 days.
Applicant should mandatorily submit a Hard Copy of the Application Form and necessary uploaded documents in a separate envelope labeled as “Cover-A” and Original Demand Draft along with the Cover letter in another envelope labeled as “Cover-B”.
Last Date for Submission: 31 May 2022, 05:00 PM IST ( 1700 hours )
The proposal should carry the following documents as per the checklist given in the EoI:
- Cover Letter-Annexure-I
- Applicant details along with required documents as per Annexure-2
- Copy of audited financials for the last 3years along with required documents as per Annexure-3
- An affidavit for not being blacklisted Annexure-4
- A self-certificate/declaration as per Annexure-5
The Mission Director, GSDM reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without providing any reason, whatsoever. The decision of GSDM shall be final and binding upon the Company/Applicant.
