Jammu : Mission Directorate J&K State Skill Development Mission (JKSSDM) is mandated to implement all the skill development programmes in the Jammu and Kashmir State. The vision is to increase the capacity and capability of the system to deliver quality skill training and professional knowledge to the youth of J&K to enhance their employability and bridge the skill deficit with a view to meet the growing demand for skilled manpower in various economic sectors by setting up Skill Development Centres.
Being a Project Implementation Agency for promotion of skill development, entrepreneurship innovation in the state, JKSSDM has been entrusted to execute Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) scheme‟s State managed component by empanelling the training partners. in Jammu and Kashmir. In this reference, JKSSDM invites the Expression of Interest (EoI) from interested and eligible training providers for submission of proposal for empanelment to undertake project under Centrally Sponsored State Managed (CSSM) component of PMKVY 2.0. for skilling is 47,302 youth from 2016-2020 where target for current financial year 2017-18 is 14,900. The eligible empanelled training provider shall implement PMKVY 2.0 training in identified/proposed sector and job roles across Jammu and Kashmir State.
