Department of Labour, Employment and Training Proposes to Register unorganized workers with the intent of providing skill training which can lead to their income increment and betterment of livelihood, in selected blocks of all the districts of the state of Jharkhand.
Towards this end, the Department of Labour, Employment & Training, Government of Jharkhand invites Proposal from the NSDC empanelled organizations working in state of Jharkhand who have the experience of mobilization and training of a large number of people for various skill mission programs of the Government. The objective of the program would be Registration of Unorganized workers in selected blocks of Jharkhand with the ultimate aim of Skill training and certification of those workers so that they can command a better price for their skilled work leading to an increase in their income and betterment of livelihood.
The scope of work is as follows:
1. Conducting awareness program in each Block.
2. Registration of at least 2000 unorganized workers per block.
3. The total blocks to be covered are 4 Blocks in each of the 24 districts of Jharkhand & the selected 4 blocks should be those which have more urbanization having a larger number of unorganized workers.
4. Submission of skill training plan document for the registered workers.
