Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for Job Oriented Vocational Training and placement for 900 youth between 18-29 years in Mumbai and Pune coming from underprivileged socio-economic background.
About CCDT
Since 1990, CCDT has been actively associated with marginalized communities in the slums of Mumbai and its suburbs. Beginning from our engagement with a self-settled colony of leprosy patients in Borivali, our effort has always been to address deprivation and marginalization of communities and children. Over the years, HIV/AIDS, child protection, adolescent empowerment as well as health and nutrition have emerged as the major domains of CCDT’s intervention, with a special focus on vulnerable children and their families.
Project Locations: Slums and Resettlements Colonies of Mumbai / Mumbai Suburbs and Pune.
Target Beneficiaries: Youth in age group of 18 to 29 Years from underprivileged socio-economic background.
Total Target: 900 Youth ( 300 Youth in Mumbai and 600 Youth in Pune and Out of these youths 60% should be girls)
Project Completion Timeline: June 2020
Training Domain Specific: Retail Marketing, Logistics and IT Enabled Services
Training Specification: Each Youth should undergo 180 hours of Training and Each Batch should be of 25 – 30 Youth and Each Centre should have at least two batches ongoing in a day (Morning and Afternoon, 6 days a week).

Expected Outcome: At Least 60% of targeted Youth should be Job Placed and be in job.
Post Placement Follow Up Support: All youth placed in job should be supported for at least 3 months to ensure job retention.
