The Handicrafts & Carpet Sector Skill Council (HCSSC), registered as a society under Societies Act of 1860. It is promoted by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), with inclusive representation of the Government, Industry, Industry Associations, Workers Organisations and Civil Society Organisations, Training Institutes and NGOs.
The HCSSC functions as the apex body on skill development for the handicrafts and carpet sector as well as coordinate the efforts of various agencies in the area of skill development. The objective of the HCSSC is to: The HCSSC shall be responsible for meeting the human resource requirements in terms of shop floor workers and professionals for the entire value chain of the handicrafts and carpet industry.
HCSSC seeks request for proposal (RFP) from reputed market research/skills development/consulting firms which can undertake the job of conducting a ‘Skill Gap Study’ in the Handicrafts & Carpet Sector, as per the scope given in RFP document.
