Tirupati : Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has teamed up with Ayush Department to organise a three-month training camp in Ayurveda therapy Panchakarma and Yoga related courses. Speaking to the media here on Sunday, the Project Manager of APSSDC, R Lokanatham said Panchakarma occupies an important place in Ayurveda.
The participants would get free training, boarding and lodging facilities. They would also get employment opportunities after completing the course. The minimum qualification for enrolling in this course is 10th class pass and both men and women between the age groups of 18-30 were eligible, he added.
Lokanathan said that the total intake of students would be 180 in the district and training would be provided for them at three different places in Sri Venkateshwara Ayurvedic Medical College, Dravidian University, Kuppam and Yogabharathi, Madanapalle. The training will commence on 10 June.
