Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation is collaborating with Health Education England to train and send qualified nurses to the UK for employment with the NHS. Candidates need to be fluent in English language – we will support you to pass the IELTS examination. Recruited nurses will work in the UK for 3 years on an earn, learn and return basis.
Key information:
If selected for the training program after screening examinations, the candidate should ensure their availability for the entire duration of the training period and if required till the completion of visa process’ as required by the UK immigration services.

Who is Eligible?
Qualification: BSc (Nursing)
Salary : Starting salary £18, 313 per annum (approx. Rs. 18 Lakhs Per annum).
Rising to £24,414 per annum (upon receipt of NMC pin (approx. Rs. 23 Lakhs Per annum)
Process
Step 1: Register on APSSDC website.
Step 2: Clear screening examination on Basic English.
Step 3: Attend 2 to 3 weeks on basic IELTS training for clearing Preliminary Examination (APTIS).
Step 4: Residential Training on IELTS (International English Language Testing System) for 4 to 6 months
Step 5: Candidate should score in IELTS (Minimum 7.0 in Reading, Listening and Speaking with minimum 6.5 in Writing
Step 6: Clear the Computer Based NMC Test – I on Clinical Domain Knowledge & Skills in India.
Step 7: NHS Hospital issues certificate of Sponsorship for UK Visa Processing
Step 8: Clearance of Visa Process to UK
Step 9: Join a hospital in the UK
Step 10: Clear NMC Test -II, i.e., OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Assessment) in UK. Salary will be enhanced based on this test.
