Visakhapatnam: Andhra University (AU) Siemens Centre of Excellence will conduct a month-long skill development/internship programme for engineering (MTech/BTech) students and passouts. The programme will be held from October 14 to November 15.
Meanwhile, APRCET member secretary Prof K Srinivasa Rao informed that as per latest instructions from the state government, school teachers with five years’ experience are also eligible to be admitted to part-time MPhil/PhD programmes. “They should have a postgraduation degree with 55% marks (5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/BC/PWD candidates). The RCET will be conducted from November 8 to 12 in 70 subjects. The last date for applying without late fee is October 10 and with a late fee of Rs 2,000, the last date is October 16,” said Srinivasa Rao.

AU vice-chancellor Prof PVGD Prasad Reddy interacted with students on campus and affiliated colleges on Friday and heard their grievance and suggestions. He announced that WhatsApp groups would be formed for students of different branches and he would be part of the groups to have first-hand information on their issues.
