Aurangabad (Maharashtra) : The Directorate Of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) has invited applications to start a new institution for vocational courses as well as sanctioning additional new divisions for the existing institutions. The state government-run DVET oversees professional education offered in the state with regional and district-level offices spread across the state.
The sanctions will be accorded to pre-vocational courses, vocational studies offered at the 10+2 level and bi-focal course, an official release said. The new permissions are meant to come into place in the academic year 2017-18.
New institutions and divisions will not be entitled for any grant from the government and the same has to be run on a permanently unaided basis, it was said.
Last date for submission of applications: 14 March 2017.
Deadline for applications with late fee: 31 March 2017.
