New Delhi : In order to recognize the work done by youth across 50 sectors, MSME-Development Institute has called for applications from them for the National Youth Award. The award would comprise of a medal, certificate of honour and cash award of Rs one lakh.
Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organizing the National Youth Award to reward the youth for outstanding work done by them in various sectors.
The awards will be instituted in about 50 sectors or domain areas. In each sector and domain area, two awards will be conferred – one for a young man and another for a young woman (age 15-29 years).
In this regard, the MSME-Development Institute has called for applications by 5th September, 2016.
The objective of the programme is to motivate the youth to strive for excellence in their respective fields by recognizing and rewarding the outstanding work done by them.
The domain areas for the award include – Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Care of Elderly Person, Literacy etc.
