National Institute of Solar Energy conducting Suryamitra Program to develop workforce in solar skills

National Institute of Solar Energy, an institution established by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India is conducting Suryamitra Program and now is prepared to launch 8th batch which is scheduled to start from 3rd of October 2017 with duration of 600 hrs to complete in 3 months period. The batch size shall be with 30 students.

This program has been designed with a prime objective to develop skilled workforce in the field of Solar Photo Voltaic System covering component procurement, installation & commissioning, operations and maintenance including technical support services with full practical hands-on training.

The candidates, both i.e. male and female, with 10th pass and ITI in Electrician/ Wireman/ Electronics, Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical with minimum 18th years of age are eligible to apply for the course. The Engineering Graduates and persons with other higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
