Pune : CSIR-NCL will be offering nine integrated skill development courses to the graduate and postgraduate unemployed youths in addition to the industry staffs and workers.
The aim is to create a skilled workforce relevant to the current industry need through training in diverse areas at different National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), said an official release from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).
“Equal priority to both theory and practical sessions will be given in these courses. Lectures will be assisted with multimedia aids. Case studies will be presented for better understanding of subjects along with group discussion and practicals. Participants will also be briefed about alternate career options,” said an official from NCL.
Evaluation will consist of written examination, attendance in all sessions and practical exams. Duration of the course will be for 3-4 weeks and there is no age limit. Selection of the people will be based on first come first serve basis if the eligibility criteria as required by different courses is satisfied.
The CSIR-NCL will offer gas chromatography, mass spectrometry and proteomics, techniques in isolation, characterization and preservation of Industrially important microorganisms, chemoinformatics theory and practice, embedded systems, polymorphism in pharmaceutical solids and pharmaceutical cocrystals, effective science communication, biocompatible and biodegradable polymers as delivery vehicles for active ingredient and quality control chemist.
