Godda (Jharkhand) : Eastern Coalfields Limited will set up skill training centres around Rajmahal Project area, a senior official said. ECL chairman-cum-managing director R R Mishra said the Rajmahal Project would launch skill development programme, so that youths get employment. He said, this will not only enable them to get hired locally but will make them capable to avail opportunities beyond the region.
The Hurasi project will begin in 2018, he said, adding production would also begin at Simlong and Chuparvita mines. Producing coal is not the only objective but uplifting the socio-economic status of the people of the society through skill development, education, health-care and other facilities to the people are the priority areas.
