Hyderabad : Bengaluru headquartered Emurgo Academy set up by Japan-based Emurgo in India, will set up four more skill development facilities – Hyderabad, Chennai-Pune and Delhi in the next 24-months to train working professionals about blockchain technology and Cardano (Third generation blockchain technology) in the country.
Addressing media at a press conference here on Wednesday, Academy Chief Executive officer E Venkatesan said the academy in the country has successfully ventured into the training and development business of students and
corporates.
The Academy has started its program for the working professionals to upskill them in blockchain course in January this year, he said that we have already trained nearly 45 working professional attended from various top corporates under three batches and the forth batch consisting of 15 professional will start at its Bengaluru office
set up by Japan-based Emurgo, from tomorrow to educate about blockchain technology and Cardano.

The Hyderabad skill development facility will be opened between November and December this year, the CEO said
that the company trains developers to be proficient in this emerging technology and helps deepen their understanding of third generation blockchain protocols such as ‘Cardano’ to help them adopt the newer technologies.
Our target to train 200 professionals at Hyderabad facility, he said that the other three facilities will be opened by
next year.
The programs have been designed to target the need to upskill or re-skill working professionals, undergraduates and freshers looking for jobs using blockchain technology, he said for professionals, the total duration of the course is 180 hours and the fee will be around Rs 1.5 lakhs.
Our target mainly was larger corporates besides colleges, he said that we MoU with 5 colleges but we have already started training to students in blockchain technologies from basics at REVA University in Bangalore and PSG College in Coimbatore by setting up of incubation centre at colleges itself , he added.
Currently, Emurgo’s presence in Japan, Signapore, US and Hongkong and India and its R&D centres in Japan and US.
