New Delhi: With the objective to provide skill training to candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and marginalized sections of society, NSDC, the National Skill Development Corporation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yamaha Motor Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd in this month.Â
The candidates will be trained near the Yamaha plant in Faridabad as Two-Wheeler Service Technicians within the Automotive Sector.
NSDC’s Approved Training Partner will facilitate placement for the candidates who complete their training successfully.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, MD of Yamaha Motor Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Director-Tech, along with other dignitaries from Japan, including Mr. Eishin Chihana, President of Yamaha Motor, India, Mr. Naoto Fujita, Director of YMSLI India, and Mr. Toyoto Ono, President of Yamaha Motor Solutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Sanjeeva Singh, EVP- CSR & Skill Development Financing, NSDC, Ms. Sarita Bhatia, GM-CSR & Skill Development Financing, Mr. Shantanu Ghosh, DGM-CSR & Mr. Yash Taretiya from NSDC International team.
The collaboration aims to provide opportunities for skill development to candidates from underprivileged backgrounds and enable them to secure gainful employment.
