Oil India to impart skill training, signed MoU with Gram Tarang

Guwahati : The Oil India Limited has signed an MoU with Gram Tarang Employability Training Services to train 300 candidates under a placement-linked skill building programme for the unemployed youths in OIL’s operational areas of Assam.

Under the project ‘OIL Swabalamban’, Gram Tarang is imparting residential training in trades like BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and Fitter & Fitter CTC, while under Project ‘OIL Sakhyam’, skill training is being provided under trades like CCD (Café Coffee Day) & SMO (Sewing Machine Operator) to the differently-abled candidates along with job opportunities, a press release said.

The inauguration function was held in Women’s ITI Rehabari on Thursday, where many dignitaries, including Pranjit Deka, General Manager (Public Affairs), OIL India Limited, participated.
