Alwar : Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), Government of Rajasthan signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday with Japanese airconditioning major Daikin Airconditioning India and Daikin Education and Skill Development Society to establish state of art Japan Institute of Manufacturing at Neemrana.
The MoU was signed by Shri Rajeev Swaroop, Managing Director, RIICO, Shri Kanwaljeet Java, MD, Daikin Airconditioning (India) Private Limited and Secretary of Daikin Education and Skill Development Society. The MoU is an initiative to step forward on the bilateral commitments of Indian and Japanese Prime Minister during their meet on 11th November, 2016.
Daikin MD told that, Daikin Japan Institute of Manufacturing will be one among the proposed four Japan Institute of Manufacturing going to be established to impart the technical skills training as per the Japanese standards of manufacturing.
The institute will focus primarily on air conditioning technologies, engineering drawing, quality control, safety standards, production control, Kaizen beside the special communication skills required in the industries, he added.
Speaking about the collaboration, Shri Rajeev Swaroop, shared that RIICO is committed support industry led initiatives and agreed to arrange 20,000 sq. meter land for this JIM to cater the training need of 30,000 youth in coming 10 years.
