Skill Development Centre opened at Guwahati, Indian Oil Corporation sponsored course

Guwahati : State Labour Minister Pallab Lochan Das inaugurated a 100-seat drivers’ training centre at Rehabari in the city on Tuesday.

The 45-day training course comprises soft and behavioral skill of drivers, apart from driving, so as to make them passenger or traveller-friendly. The course has been sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation, Guwahati, in association with the Directorate of Employment and Craft Training. All the 30 youths who have been enrolled in the first batch of the centre are from the vicinity of Guwahati Refinery.

IOC executive director Jogen Borpujari and Employment and Craft Training Director Rituraj Bora were also present at the inaugural function.
