Kathmandu : The federal government is planning to allocate a sum of money from its annual budget to each of 753 local governments in the country so as to provide various skill development training programmes to the people living in towns and rural areas.
The special plan is being proposed with an aim to stop unskilled youth from flying abroad for job opportunities.
The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security had recently announced that it would gradually stop unskilled human resources from joining the abroad workforce as they have been facing lots of troubles and humiliation there.
Therefore, a special plan will be implemented in all municipalities and rural municipalities in the upcoming fiscal year and the budget will also be allocated for the programme.
According to a high-level official at the Ministry, a special policy and programme for the skill development campaign will be brought in the upcoming fiscal year and homework has already been started.
