“The event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the talent of India’s youth at the International level and help them benchmark their skills to the global level. This will inspire the youth of India to learn a skill of their choice and improve their livelihood potential. I wish the very best to our team participating at UK Skills Show to bring laurels to the country,” said Jayant Krishna, CEO, NSDC.
The candidates will be showcasing their skills in Beauty Therapy (body, hands and face) amongst a gathering of 75,000 people who will be attending country’s largest skill development event.

Commenting on the matter, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (I/C) and Parliamentary Affairs said, “India has been heavily focusing on skill development for the last one year now, especially under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. We need to extend more such opportunities to the youth of the country, in order to inspire many others to come to the fore front, acquire a skill of their choice and add to their personal and country’s growth.
He further added, “These opportunities provide individuals with a platform to engage with participants of other countries, helping them understand the values associated with their skills, globally. Moreover, the success of these participants could play a vital role in making skills aspirational for the youth of the country.”
