Bangkok : Thailand will host the ASEAN skill development fair from August 31 to September 2 at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani.
Thai Labour Minister Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew chaired a meeting to follow up on the progress of organising the event, urging officials to hold competitions according to international standards.
Competitions will be held in 26 occupations in six groups, consisting of manufacturing technology, website design and telecommunications, fashion and creative design, transportation and logistics, construction and building technologies, and services.
Over 30,000 people from 10 ASEAN member countries are expected to attend the event, which will be an opportunity for people in Thailand to learn about the latest innovations and hone their skills.
