Water Management and Plumbing Skill Council (WMPSC) intends to hire the CEO/COO at New Delhi. The objective of this job position is to lead the team towards bridging the gap of skilled labour and assist the governing board in formulating strategy for the enhancement of skills and professionalism in Water & Plumbing Industry. Title: Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Operating Officer (CEO/COO)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: The position requires the person to have Management background

Experience: 15-20 years of work experience out of which minimum 2 years in Leadership role. Exposure in skills development or similar operations will be preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Liaison with various central/ state/ semi government bodies.
• People Management/ Relationship Management.
• Persuasive & passionate communicator.
• Leveraging technology advancements & leading transformation.
• Understanding of Accounting principles and processes.
• Understanding of Company law & its application.
• High ethical standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) & National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) for the effective implementation of the skilling modules.
• Get industry stakeholder engagement through signing of MOUs and implementing the same.
• Promote accreditations, examinations and certifications of training courses.
• Represent WMPSC in various forums.
• International engagement.
• Setting up of Centres of Excellence.
• Role of Joint Apprenticeship Advisor.
• Connect with various Govt & Industry bodies to sign MOUs on skills development.
