Positions: Lead Consultant, Consultant

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Project Overview: 
— Mapping and identifying the areas of overlap between SDGs and State policies and programmes.
— Developing and facilitating sensitization and training programmes for providing exposure and orientation to officials.
— Developing IEC materials to popularize SDGs among ordinary citizens.
— Working out a design for sensitization and coherence of SDGs within local government (PRI) agendas.
— Effective integration of the SDGs into the state planning process

Lead Consultant

Eligibility Criteria:
— Substantial experience of leading and managing multi-partner development programs and teams.
— Substantial experience in engaging with the state government and understanding of the state policies.
— Adept research skills, state policy mapping and evaluation skills.
— Understanding of developing training modules and communication material.
— Comprehensive knowledge, analysis and understanding about issues related to socio-economic development like poverty, social exclusion and injustice.
— Verbal and written communication skills in Hindi, Kannada and English.
— Experience of working on or understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) would be desired criteria.
Roles and Responsibilities: The Lead Consultant will be responsible for project management and implementation with the Planning Department, Govt of Karnataka.

Consultant:

— Comprehensive knowledge, analysis and understanding about issues related to socio-economic development like poverty, social exclusion and injustice.
— Verbal and written communication skills in Hindi, Kannada and English.
— Experience of working with multi-partner development programs would be desired criteria.
— Exposure to the SDGs discourse would be desired criteria.
Roles and Responsibilities: The Consultant will assist the Lead Consultant, support the Planning Department in the implementation of the project and will liaison between NFI and the department.

Remuneration: Remuneration is based on experience and on the Foundation’s adherence to internal systems.
