The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship recently nominated vice-president of Symbiosis Foundation Swati Mujumdar to the National Advisory Committee (NAC) constituted under the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
NAC focuses on institutionalizing entrepreneurship development in the country. The committee will provide guidance and policy direction on entrepreneurship development as well as review the overall progress apart from providing inputs on implementing entrepreneurship development initiatives by central ministries/departments. Swati Mujumdar is the principal director of Symbiosis Open Education Society which has opened Maharashtra’s First Skill University. She is also founder vice chancellor and pro chancellor of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore.
