The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) aims to acknowledge Trainers’ contribution to the skill ecosystem as they have been the key drivers and have tirelessly trained India’s youth to be future-ready and ensured capacity building.
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), on behalf of MSDE, invites self-nominations from trainers/ master trainers, nominations for trainers from training partners and State Skills Development Missions, and master trainers from Sector Skill Councils for the fourth edition of Kaushalacharya Awards. An initiative of MSDE, the Kaushalacharya Awards is an annual celebration that focuses on honoring the skill trainers and the impact created by them on India’s youth.

The 4th edition of the Kaushalacharya Awards will be held in 2022. Under the Kaushalacharya Awards, there are five categories of the award to cover and honor the achievement of Trainers/Master Trainers/Apprentices/Entrepreneurship Development Trainers for recognizing their immense contribution to society through their dedication in their respective field/domain for enhancing the employability skill amongst the eligible workforce and helping in creating alternative means of livelihood through skilling efforts The categories are as under:
