IIE Guwahati invites Biodata / detailed Profile with experience certificate and other educational details like mark sheet/ certificates, 3 copies of Passport Size Photographs from the experienced handloom designers specialized in export level quality product to empanel as Designer for export led skill development trainings in handloom and prototype development under the Institute as per availability of projects and requirements. On an immediate basis the Designers are required to be engaged in the Export – Led  Skills for Handloom Weavers of North East India under project SANKALP. The training program will be conducted with the cluster-based weavers from the state of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur.
The biodata and other details must reach before the last date mentioned in detail below. Preference will be given to the candidates with prior experience of working as trainer/ Designer under Ministry of Textile, GoI’s various programmes sponsored under Development Commissioner – Handloom & Development Commissioner Handicrafts.
Terms Of Reference:
- The engagement will be on contract basis on turnkey basis per training.
- All training programs must be completed by 10th February 2024 and accordingly the Designer must be available for deployment on demand.
- To impart 22 days’ skill training program and develop 5 prototype samples in clusters as per export standards in the mentioned states.
- Submit financial expectations Honorarium, fees, charges) along with the profile.
- This empanelment is subject to your satisfactory performance during the assignments and your empanelment may be terminated without issuing any notice at any time before completion of above period if performances are found to be not satisfactory or any other reason deemed fit or on need basis.
- You are under the overall administrative control of IIE during the period of the assignment.
- Your engagement will not bestow any right whatever either of permanent/regular absorption in the service of the institute beyond the period mentioned above unless extended or to any other benefits as may be applicable to other regular/such employees of the institute.
- Liaise and coordinate smoothly with the SPV of the cluster, IIE officials ensuring smooth and successful completion of the training programmes as per SIDH portal.
- The terms of payments will be provided in the work order to be assigned with every training assignments.
