155 hours English, Employability & Entrepreneurship Module (EEE) induced in STT-PMKVY, MEPSC to be the nodal agency

The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has approved the English, Employability & Entrepreneurship Module (EEE) module which is to be made a part of all the QPs across all Job Roles. Management and Entrepreneurship & Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) is the nodal body for the implementation of EEE module that includes training, assessment & certification.

The previous E&E Module is being updated and English will be added to enhance the employability potential of the PMKVY candidates. MSDE & NSDC identified a need to strengthen the existing curriculum on Employability and Entrepreneurship and embed an English and Soft Skills Module into the vocational training to meet the expectations of employers and increase the chances of employment both in India as well as abroad.

Batch created on SDMS from 1st February 2019 onwards in the below mentioned 9 job roles will have additional 155 hours of
EEE module . The EEE Module shall replace the 40 hours of the present mandatory Employability & Entrepreneurship Module, which covered Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, Employability and Entrepreneurship. Training Providers(TPs) are requested to plan their batches accordingly.

Tourism & Hospitality (Front Office Associate)

Telecom (Field Sales Executive -Telecom Plans and Services)

Healthcare  (Home Health Aide)

Healthcare  (Pharmacy Assistant)

Healthcare (Diabetes Educator)

Healthcare (Emergency Medical Technician-Basic)

Note: It is mandatory for training center who have been allocated target in above mentioned 9 job roles to conduct EEE training, assessment and certification, in collaboration with MEPSC, failing which may impact future target allocation and/or tranche 2 and 3 Pay-outs.
