National Skill Development Corporation intends to recruit Professional for Payroll & HR Compliance administration

New Delhi : The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a one-of-its-kind, Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in India, under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). It aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. A not-for-profit company set up by the Ministry of Finance, under Section 25 of the Companies Act.

NSDC provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It will also develop appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives.

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for ensuring smooth Payroll and HR Compliance administration for NSDC, for managing employee services related to Payroll & Compliance administration and to validate & process the payroll input / output in line with policy & process guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance and Human Resources teams to support strategic decisions and financial analyses
  • Input monthly payroll, consolidate payroll input, maintain payroll files with complete documentation
  • Check all HR related statutory compliance deductions in line with compliance requirements for NSDC
  • Advise on employee tax issues and provide required tax information to employees
  • Improve the payroll-related human resources functions of NSDC, rethink existing strategies, processes, or structures, when necessary.
  • Process LTA re-imbursements and manage flexi reimbursement process
  • Act as a key liaison for employee questions. Research and respond to a variety of employee questions in a timely manner, with an emphasis on educating employees on compliance issues.

 

Qualification & Experience : MBA/M.Com with 3-5 years relevant experience

Skills Required :

Working knowledge of labour laws and associated tax requirements in relation to compensation, payroll, and benefits administration.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Good financial and business acumen.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
