Special drive for registration of rural youth for skill development under Mission Antyodaya GPs to start from 1st Nov.

New Delhi : I am directed to state that Ministry of Rural Development has announced Mission Antyodya, a convergence framework for measurable effective outcomes on parameters that transform lives and livelihoods, which inter-alia includes providing an opportunity to rural youth to undertake skill development through Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalaya Yojana (DDU-GKY) for wage employment, or through skilling from RSETI for self employment with suitable bank credit linkage. In order to facilitate adequate coverage of rural candidates in the said skilling programs, Ministry has launched Kaushal Panjee, a web based / mobile app based online platform to register all rural youth in Gram Panchayat for Ministry’s skill development programs. The data collected will be used for creating a Baseline for Mission Antyodaya Program. Ministry had mandated all States to actively use Kaushal Panjee in the recently concluded Gram Samridhi and Swachta Pakhwada.

Considering the fact that there is a huge target population to be registered in the country as also in continuation to Gram Samridhi and Swachta Pakhwada drive, I am further directed to state that Ministry has taken a decision to register all rural youth in the Kaushal Panjee in the identified 50000 GPs under the Mission Antyodaya program in phase 1 in a mission mode. A list of 50000 GPs identified for Mission Antyodaya is given at website url http://rural.nic.in/more/mission-antyodaya.

It is accordingly requested that suitable instructions may be issued through your office to the District / Block level officers to undertake a special drive for registration of candidates in the 50000 GPs identified for Mission Antyodaya program from 1st November 2017 till 30th November 2017. It is also requested to furnish an ATR to the Ministry on a monthly basis with a copy to rishi.gupta@ddugky.gov.in
