Haryana Government invites proposals from varsities, colleges for empanelment to train candidates

Chandigarh : Haryana Government has invited proposals from universities, colleges and institutions located in the state, Delhi and Chandigarh for empanelment for the purpose of providing training to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes.

Such institutions can submit their proposal complete in all respects to the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department latest by November 30, 2017.

Stating this here on Saturday, a spokesman of the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department said the institute should be approved by National Skill Development Corporation and engaged in running short term training courses such as desktop printing and printing technology, networking and mobile applications, theater and television, medical lab, designing, food science and quality control, catering technology and hotel management, sports nutrition and physiotherapy, retail and logistics management, and tourism and hospitality management.

He said that those institutes would be eligible which have three years experience in the prescribed field and turnover of Rs 50 lakh per annum. The employment rate of the institute in government and private sector should not be less than 50 per cent of the trainees per year. The institute should quote the fee per trainee and duration of the training. The institute would submit the list of successfully employed candidates along with name, father name, address, caste, annual family income, name and duration of course, he added.

The spokesman said that the details of the scheme can be downloaded from the official website of the Department www.haryanascbc.gov.in. Selection of the institute for empanelment would be made on the basis of quoted fee and proven track record of the institution.
