New Delhi : F-TEC Skill Development, an NSDC training partner, organized its first Kaushal Mela under the pilot project of PMKVY2.0 (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna) at Najafgarh. The key focus of this event was to spread awareness about job oriented skill trainings provided by F-TEC as an affiliated Training Provider under PMKVY 2.0 to about 250 youth, parents and community, who were present during the programme.
Ms. Swati Verma, represented Mr. Parvesh Sahib Singh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, as Chief Guest. She encouraged the youth to avail the benefits under PMKVY2.0 scheme, importance of skill certificate, to be able to earn with dignity and become self-dependent. “Pradhan Mantri Sh Narendra Modi has shown us a way towards Kaushal Bharat, Kushal Bharat, and we must leave no stone unturned to achieve that. It is also our responsibility to spread awareness about such programs meant to skill the youth. Kaushal Melas should also be conducted regularly to spread the awareness about the scheme”.
Ms. Neelam Chaudhary, Chairman MCD Ward Committe- Najafgarh Zone appreciated F-TEC’s initiative of organizing Kaushal Mela, thus, creating awareness about PMKVY 2.0 and ‘Skill India’ campaign. She encouraged the house with her message to the youth and guided them that dedication to learn and determination to win is the key to success. Certificates of course completion were distributed to the batches that had completed Beauty & Wellness program under PMKVY.
The event was presided over by Mr. Praveen Arya, Chairman, F-TEC Skill Development. Mr. Mallikarjuna Iytha, MD, F-TEC, Ms. Shalu Bhatia, ED, F-TEC, Mr. Satnam Singh, Centre Director, F-TEC Najafgarh, were also present during the event.
Mr. Praveen Arya added “F-TEC centres have been equipped with all the required mandates and accredited under PMKVY2.0 to provide programs designed under National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). This is a great opportunity for the youth to avail the scheme benefits provided by Government, skill certification after successful completion, becoming employable and earn decent livelihood. Registration for training programs under PMKVY2.0 has started and interested youth between the age of 18 – 35 years can visit F-TEC Skill Development Centre and register for the same in sector of their choice like IT-ITes, Beauty & Wellness, Retail, Apparel tailoring programs and more.
