Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites applications to engage professionals under Young Professionals Programme

New Delhi : Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through its F.No. A-11019/01/2017-SDE seeks to engage Young Professional with an aptitude for Public Policy and Development under the Young Professionals Programme (YPP). The Young Professionals Programme (YPP) seeks to provide a unique opportunity for persons below the age of 35 years, having exposure to Public Policy and Development. It seeks to engage persons with a passion for development and the potential to become future leaders in their respective fileds. Under this programme, highly qualified, motivated individuals will work in the MSDE in areas that are relevant to development policy and provide high quality professional inputs in Public Policy, Planning and Development, Education, Entrepreneurship, International collaboration amongst others. This highly selective programme requires candidates to demonstrate proven academic, credentials, professional achievement and leadership qualities. The YPP seeks to provide an opportunity to gain experience in MSDE of policies and programmes of the Government of India.

Eligibility :
Essentials : Master Degreee in relevant subjects or Technical Qualifications like B.E., B.Tech, MBA or equivalent
Desirable : Persons with M.Phil or additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.

Work Experience : Minimum of One Year of Work Experience relevant to the job description. The broad work experience to be based on the functional areas assigned to MSDE. Preference will be given to persons with good work experience in the relevant field as evident by published work / policy papers / appraisal / monitoring of projects & schemes etc.

Other Attributes : Candidates should have good knowledge on working on computer and ability demonstrate ICT applications. The candidate should also possess good inter-personal and strong communication skills.

Remuneration : Rs. 70,000/- per month
Period of engagement : Initially for a period of 2 years (can be extended up to 5 years – one year at a time )

Age Limit : 35 Years
