Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Information & Technology Imran Raza Ansari met union minister of state, Anant Kumar Hegde to discuss skill initiatives in J&K.
During the meeting, Ansari informed MoS about the ‘Skill Summit’ which is going to be organize in February this year.
“Ansari proposed that NSDC and SSC should participate in the summit and help state government to create awareness about various skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities available to the youth in the state,” the handout reads.
In the meeting it has been discussed that there should be enough skill development centres, ITIs along with incubation centre for young entrepreneurs in the valley so that the youth of the state can have more opportunities for skilling and making themselves more employable.
