Mumbai : A Mega Job Fair organized by Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) on February 9, 2018, at ITI campus, Aliganj, Lucknow saw a humungous distribution of 950 job offers in the aforementioned sectors. The event was supported by National Skill Development Corporation under the ageis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
The fair bought about 15 leading Tourism & Hospitality recruiters from India under one roof. Leading Brands like Taj Hotels, Lemon Tree, Radisson, Sarovar, Citrus, Mocha – Café & Bar, Downtown, Manhattan, Bronx & Fantom, Lite bites, KFC, Pizza Hut, Sodexo, PVR, Jubilant, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, and Barbeque Nation participated with a job aggregation of over 1500 jobs. This event that offered entry-level jobs to supervisory-level jobs received over 1300 candidates.
THSC’s Job Fair Calendar is posted on www.thsc.in and the upcoming Job Fairs would be in, Chandigarh, Dehradun (2017-18). The calendar for 2018-19 will be published by Feb 2018.
Pranjal Yadav, Director (IAS), UPSDM and Dr. Sonali Sinha, COO, THSC agreed for a deeper collaboration and more such result-oriented events for the youth of UP in the near future.
