Bengaluru (Karnataka) : Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) is going to play an operative role during the execution of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed between National Skill Development Corporation, Airbus, Aerocampus Aquitaine – France and Government of Telangana for setting up Center of Excellence in Aerospace Skill Development in Hyderabad. The Center of Excellence will focus on the increasing demand of skilled youth in aviation sector and increasing employability of youth focusing Aerospace Manufacturing & Assembly and Aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) as their career path.
AASSC will also provide formal affiliation to Aerocampus Aquitaine France to impart training as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) for the jobs laid by the sector skill council. Airbus Group India will play the important role of Industry Partner by providing domain expertise, industry trends, curriculum design. Government of Telangana will key role in project setting up and management.
The MoU signing will take place on Wednesday 15th Feb 2017 at the aviation industry’s flagship event Aero India – 2017 at Airforce Station Bangalare.
