Aerospace & Aviation is an emerging sector in India. Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) has developed Skill Development Framework for 70 Job Roles to meet the growing demand. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body under MHRD, GoI has approved 7 Job Roles under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana – Technical Institutions ( #PMKVY–TI ) programmes for the year 2018-2019.
The 7 Job Roles approved under this scheme are Airline Cargo Assistant, Airline Customer Service Executive, Airline High Lift Truck Operator, Airline Security Executive and Airline Flight Load Controller.
19 Academic Institutes across the country have been approved by AICTE under the PMKVY – TI scheme and have been allotted numbers. 600 candidates are to be trained, assessed & certified under the Aerospace & Aviation SSC’s Job Roles in the academic year 2018-19.
