Hyderabad : The National Institute of Commodity Markets and Research (NICR), the research and education arm of NCDEX, has signed an MoU with MANAGE – National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad to jointly undertake various knowledge building initiatives for Indian commodity markets.
This collaboration enables MANAGE to offer NICR’s Commodity Certification Course to its PGDM (ABM) students,The objective is to build capacities in the commodity markets. Price dissemination to farmers, skill building and conducting research are other areas of collaboration.
Samir Shah, Managing Director and CEO of NCDEX, said: “With its in-depth understanding of the agricultural ecosystem, knowledge of markets, NICR is perfectly placed to help build a community of skilled agri-ecosystem through awareness and training. Manage will help build capacity of certified agri professionals.”

The NICR Commodity Certification Course is designed to meet the growing demand for a comprehensive and authentic commodity certification course. Useful to traders, agri business entrepreneurs, and investors, it provides a professional certification with accreditation from the Agricultural Skill Council of India (ASCI).
Over the past few years, the course has gained popularity among students and commodity derivatives professionals as a ‘go-to’ course owing to its relevance and rich content, a press release said.
