New Delhi : Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) joined hands with Micro Labs to set up a Center of Excellence in Bangalore which has been inaugurated by Mr. Dilip Surana, CMD, Micro Labs and Mr. Anshul Saxena, Director- Standards and Training Advisory in presence of leadership team of Micro Labs and Mr. Alok Kumar Jha, State Coordinator- Karnataka, LSSSDC.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dilip Surana shared that the Micro Centre of Excellence may be opened soon for colleges in the cluster to impart the Skilling if needed so and reiterated that his vision is to support Industry as a whole to bring a robust growth and bring excellence as a culture in Life Sciences Industry.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a leadership meeting of Micro Labs where Mr. Anshul and Mr. S Varadharajan, Vice President- Learning & Development, Micro Labs has showcased the plan of 2 years for the inaugurated Centre of Excellence where the CoE will work towards building the resources and standards for achieving the Sales Excellence.
Mr. Anshul from LSSSDC told that, the council is working with Micro Labs team for adding the Manufacturing vertical in near future the Micro Centre of Excellence and work towards achieving Manufacturing Excellence in Industry.
In addition to the above, LSSSDC and Micro Labs also collaborated for assessment of its salesforce spread over PAN India as per the skill criteria set by National Occupational Standards for Medical Sales Representative. The assessment of appx. 4000 salesforce has been completed in a record time of 7 days which has been a part of PMKVY RPL “Best In Class Employer” project. Following the assessment, LSSSDC is also providing a detailed Skill Gap Report for each employee assessed by LSSSDC which then will be used to re- Skill / Up Skill the salesforce.
