Telecom Sector Skill Council organized Telecom Coalescence, will create new job roles with Industry 4.0 Vision

New Delhi:- Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) organized “Telecom Coalescence: New Jobs, New Skills” at The Anya Hotel. The event was organized to discuss various opportunities with the vision of Industry 4.0 and how TSSC can meet the demand for skilled manpower with the changing industry dynamics in the coming time. Mr. Arvind Bali (Acting CEO, TSSC), Lt Gen. Dr. SP Kochhar (Mentor & Advisor, TSSC) and several industry and training partners were present during the occasion.

The objective of the event was to have an interactive session with the partners to discuss myriad of opportunities/initiatives and emphasize more on bridging the gap between the partners and industry to collaborate hand in hand for a better future.

TSSC has laid a very strong foundation of reliable certifications of trained and skilled manpower. The council has already started working towards designing high-end courses such as Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR, Drone Technologies, Application Development, Big Data, 5G and Blockchain for academia to fulfill the emerging requirements of the telecom industry in future. TSSC has partnered with key stakeholders to strengthen the quality of training programs and assessments that will help in providing better placement opportunities for the candidates.

During the occasion, Mr. Arvind Bali, Acting CEO, TSSC said, “We are in the process of re-skilling and up-skilling of youth and training new trainees to fulfill the demand of the industry. We will be more focused on the placement part and incorporating new ideas to be imparted at various locations through our training partners.”

Lt Gen. Dr. SP Kochhar, Mentor & Advisor, TSSC said, “We need to understand and address the issues faced by our training partners. The major issue is mobilization, which needs to be resolved by facilitating the partners with an agency that is capable enough to handle it.”
