Notice released regarding upcoming EOIs under PMKVY

1. This is an advance and general notice for organizations interested in taking up skill development under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (“PMKVY”), the flagship skill development scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (“MSDE”), being implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (“NSDC”).
2. A request for Expression of Interest (“REOI”) will be issued shortly and this advance notice is to provide additional time for preparation to interested organizations. The submission of expression of Interest will be online and a URL for the same will be initiated. The conditions of eligibility and other conditions will also be informed with the REOI or in subsequent notices.
3. The target allocation will be prioritized for organizations which provide guaranteed placements, working in underserved areas (aspirational districts, tribal clusters, LWE districts etc.), industrial clusters, clusters with high apprenticeship enrolments etc. Additionally, training by Industry / Industry associations (on their premises) will be given preference. Another objective would be to give training in new job roles (not covered by PMKVY till now) and other future skills job roles.
4. This notice also seeks the attention of schools, colleges and other educational institutions for training on their premises.
