Khonsa : The three-week skill development training programme held at Khonsa for Lazu and Khonsa blocks under BADP from April 26 to May 18 concluded at Town Secondary School, Khonsa on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Project Director, DRDA Khonsa, Dahey Sangno asked the trainees to make optimum use of the knowledge acquired during the training. He said that such skill development training could help the educated unemployed youth earn their livelihood and the skills they acquired should be practically utilized to augment their source of income. Training were imparted by the professionals on basic computer, beauty and hair dressing, tailoring and painting. The three week training programme was earlier inaugurated by Tirap DC Ravi Jha on April 26.
EAC T. Riba, DSO, R. Mihu and DDMO in charge DPO, P. Duggong also spoke in the function. The training organized under the aegis of Tirap district administration was conducted by GPTI, Itanagar, a registered VTP.
